Hello and Welcome to Exit Realty, The Capital Group!  Born and raised in the Leatherstocking Region, I am very familiar especially with Otsego, Delaware, Schoharie, and Montgomery Counties.  I have found that there is no replacement for the beauty of this area and what it has to offer.  Although my roots are here I love traveling and meeting new people.  After graduating high-school from Cherry Valley - Springfield, I traveled to the state of Delaware and attended college at the University of Delaware.  Go BLUE HENS!  There, I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and minored in Psychology and History.  I had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful state and the beaches but decided that New York was the place to be!  After college, I took a brief job working for an appraiser where I got a bit of a taste for the Real Estate Market.  Following my dream of law and criminal justice I then took a job for Schoharie County where I was a counselor working primarily with probationers and parolees.  Although this was a rewarding job at times, I felt like I was missing out on something and wanted more.  That is when I obtained my Real Estate license and have been doing it ever since.  I feel like I have always been a part of real estate as my father is a builder and has a successful business that has been running for over 30 years.  He and my mother spent year after year remodeling old homes, especially farmhouses and barns on larger tracts of land.  My four siblings and I learned very quickly the value of hard work and setting your sights on a goal.  I have definitely gained an appreciation and respect for construction and the building trades.  Whether it was insulating, painting, roofing, or just running for supplies I always had a job when I came home from college breaks!!  Between my education and upbringing I feel I am a very well rounded, qualified individual when it comes to doing my job efficiently and running a business.  Building relationships, follow up, and customer satisfaction is very important to me.  I take pride in my efficiency and organizational skills.  If I don't know or I am not sure about something I will find the answers for you.  I believe in reasonable change and diversity as long as it benefits the community positively. I am very enthusiastic about my career and to me real estate is not just a transaction between a buyer and seller.  I invest a tremendous amount of time in meeting the real estate needs of my clients before, during, and after a transaction.  I think this is a fantastic business and I am proud to be a part of this industry!!  I look forward to doing business with you too!
